Alix, AB – 2010

As part of the downtown beautification strategy for the Town of Alix, Lombard North Group worked with MPE Engineering Ltd. to create a series of small rain gardens along the central boulevard.  These rain gardens function to mitigate storm water management issues while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the streetscape.

Calgary, AB – 2008

Cranston is a Brookfield Residential community located in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, along the banks of the Bow River. Adjacent to Fish Creek Provincial Park, Cranston provides sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains and direct access to a regional network of pedestrian pathways. Lombard North provided services for the design and development all community elements including entry features, boulevards, linear parks, pedestrian connectivity, school sites and playgrounds. There is also a large area of environmental reserves along the embankment, some of which required careful construction and restoration processes.
